Lynn DPW removes homeless veteran’s belongings

LYNN — Four Lynn Department of Public Works employees, two police officers, a front-end loader and a dump truck descended on Mt. Vernon Street Tuesday afternoon to remove the belongings of a homeless Lynn veteran.
Tom Dow is a regular sight around Central Square as he can often be seen hauling two shopping carts full of an eclectic mix of items, from traffic cones and signs to framed photos, bottles, shoe boxes and an American flag.
